Second module FULIEB: Blogs and Technology
Last Saturday, June 7 Leaders Entrepreneurs Foundation (FULIEB) , an initiative of Rotary Club Santa Cruz, with the encouragement of the University Dominic Savio, Rotaract Club Santa Cruz, Equipetrol, Grigotá y Montero, and with the support of the Center for Participation and Sustainable Human Development (CEPAD) in the auditorium of the said University
II called Digital Literacy Workshop: Blogs and Technology.
It should be noted that the participation of CEPAD in support of this initiative is framed within the Ibero-American Network for Technical Cooperation (IBERCOTEC), whose main objective is to incorporate the beneficiaries of the latest trends in Information Society and Knowledge.
The objective of Workshop was to provide students with practical tools that enable them to appropriate use of information and transfer their skills to build their own development.
180 students were participants in this second workshop, the same who are students in their final year of college: Florida National, Josephine Balsamo, Ramon Dario Gutierrez, Adela Zamudio and April 12 Village May 1.
One of the speakers was Mr. Pablo Sánchez Kohn who stated that the internet goes beyond simply chat or find a task to copy and paste, but the Internet is a tool that provides social opportunities for access to knowledge. In turn, the other speaker, Marco Montellano, delved into what is web 2.0 and social networks. It was a day a lot of participation, dynamism and commitment of young people.
This module FULIEB II, with the support of content and speakers of the digital for temasde CEPAD, will take place throughout the month of June. Keep you informed of how activities are developed, Saturday to Saturday.
